I have been taking photographs for over forty years, evolving from snapshots of scenics (which I first used as reference shots for painting) to more artistic interpretations and a large variety of subject matter.
In my darkroom I began to use manipulation techniques to better express my feelings about the subjects or to emphasize the mood, message or atmosphere of the photograph. Sometimes the photograph is the end, and sometimes it is the beginning of something I envision. I utilize film and digital photography, digital manipulation and my computer generated imagery to create my art. I hope you enjoy it.
