Zenwood Wood Turning

I have been operating Zenwood for over a decade.  When I lived in the greater Vancouver area, I sold my pieces through galleries, stores, art/craft fairs and my studio.  Now that I am set up in Lillooet, I will be sharing my new work on this site.

The woods I use include magnolia, acacia, maple, walnut, pear and yew, and most of them are sourced from BC.

One of my favourite things is going to the mill for the day, where I spend hours picking through pieces of wood for the perfect bowl blanks.  My selected wood pieces sit for various periods of time in my shop to ensure both the dryness and the "Zen" of the design.

Each piece is unique.  I do not create sets and you will not see your bowl anywhere else.  Please enjoy the photos of some of my work.
